Try switching to another country in the server list, check that your internet connection works without VPN, and make sure the VPN profile is allowed in iOS Settings → General → VPN & Device Management. If it still fails, email us with your iOS version.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions, choose VPN Squirrel and tap Cancel. Payments are not handled by us directly.
